WTF Japan Seriously is three months old today! It's still a small site, but it's been growing steadily thanks mostly to the awesome users that favorited us on stumbleupon (go help us out on stumble). Last week the site finally made enough money to pay for its own domain fees, thanks to everyone who supported us by clicking on the annoying stuff on the right. I want to use this opportunity to ask everyone for constructive criticism on the blog layout. Is the sidebar on the right annoying? Is the text too small? Should the site be wider?
I also want to know what you think about the content of the site. What kinds of posts do you like and dislike? Do you want more videos, pictures or text? Should I include more adult or more family friendly content? Let me know whats on your mind.

I love your site. moar videos! also i gave you a thumbs up on stumble. youre welcome
Your site is awesome. The layout, though not graphics-heavy awesome, is quite clean, NOT annoying, and most of all doesn't bog down the function of your blog. I say keep it the way it is. Again, I LOVE this blog, keep up the awesome work!
everything is awesome but make your posts wider, your images and videos are too skinny
your page got me dyin'!!! sparkle on..=D
your page is awesome.
more commercials will make it greater.
Thanks for all the praise and the help guys. D'awwww I have the best readers ever.
Love it. Keep digging into the nitty unknowns of Japan, and I'll be back.
I think your site is great, the videos are my favourite. There's no need to be family friendly because the demographic that this site appeals to is older. Keep up the good work =D!
maybe more posts a day?
i love this site! the videos and posts are hilarious! keep up the wicked awesome work!
Nice blog - adding you to my links list. =)
Some of the videos you have are pretty great - I wish I could dig up stuff like that. Anyway, keep up the good work.
I love this site!... Go with a format similar to "Todays Big Fail"... especially connecting it to Facebook... keep up the good work!
I like your site, and the idea behind it. I spend a lot of time in Japan and as much as I love the Japanese people, and seriously, I love them, but WTFJS?????
I found this website Saterday, absolutly love it. I've already added it to my fave links, and posted it on Facebook. I'd love to see you write a little more about the posts, althought sometimes one short sentance is all that's needed. Keep it up, this site is hilarious!
I have studied and loved ancient japan for a long time, and your site has opened my eyes to modern japanese culture. I love the earnest wholehearted embrace of all that exists, from cow patty vanilla to a bad case of diarrhea... the profound and total lack of a need to look cool. I've put you on my facebook page as well.
I love this site, keep up the good work!
No need changing anything at all
I think that a navigation scheme like google.com would be nice. You know like a little bar on the bottom that says "first, previous, and the numbers near the page that you're on, and then next, and newest"
As far as content goes you definitely have the right idea though. Keep it up and I'll keep coming back every 2 days or so.
Ever thought of Twitter? Would be awesome to spread such kinda stuff.
KEEP IT THE SAME.
Please (:
I love the site! Hilarious content. :) You mentioned on another post that you do get some more risque submissions from visitors... It would be great if there was a NWS section for those who are not so sensitive.
I love your site :) a friend from Hong Kong recommended it to me!
I agree, the site is fine in its current state.
BTW you should try selling WTFJS shirts! I would rock a white tee shirt with the current site logo on the front, and of course somewhere under that or on the back have the actual url.
And I should get a free shirt for suggesting it if you had not thought of it already. :0
It also may help offset domain and hosting costs in the future (I have been doing hosting and webdev stuff for years, so I know your pain).
Thanks
Richie
