This looks like a drag flick you'd see in the US. Our gay culture has plenty of movies like this (To Wong Foo With Love, for example). I was surprised to see such a Westernized style of drag in a Japanese movie, with drag as such a core part of their identity and the sort of gritty or exaggerated female look versus a more subdued feminine appearance. So while I wouldn't call this a WTFJapan, it still looks like it might be fun to watch!
